AN AWARD-winning garden has opened after dark with an array of lights from musical stepping stones to a field of glowing tulips.
Sir Harold Hillier Gardens has launched its first-ever light-up trail bringing together a series of art installations by some of Europe’s most established light artists and designers.
Visitors to the attraction, in Romsey, can see the gardens as they've never been shown before with a mile-long loop of festive lights, including moving projections of wildlife animals and Christmas characters, all curated by Hampshire-based designers Light Up Trails.
Halfway around, there’s the opportunity to fill up on street food with vendors selling hot dogs, burgers, chips, churros, crepes and drinks.
The trail is open from Thursday, November 24 to Saturday, December 31. Tickets are available to book at lightuptrails.com for £15 a child, £22 per adult or £70 for a family ticket.
