We are excited to welcome back the award winning Light Up trails for a sparkling family celebration of Christmas and colour.

This year, with a new route and brand-new installations, it is bigger and better than ever promising more Christmas, more lights, more photo opportunities, and more joy!

Alongside new features such as the remarkable Magic Pathway video installation, the immersive Symphony of Light on the Pond and the ever-popular Written in the Stars with its new twice-as-big screen, this year’s star attractions include international sound artist Karen Monid’s Wild Yule, a large scale soundscape encouraging visitors to experience the winter landscape as a living place that has inspired myths and imagination.

There’s a price freeze with Off-Peak and Peak tickets the same price as last year. There’s also a new Super Peak ticket for a number of extra special nights when the light trail is enhanced by live entertainment in association with Steamship Circus with mesmerising fire jugglers, larger-than-life characters and awesome aerial artistes on hand to elevate the Light Up experience.

And in the Joy Village, the reworked menu includes more seasonal food and drink, from boozy hot chocolate and mulled wine, to tasty street food to suit all palettes, with cosy seating in the marquee or outdoors.
