Christmas can’t come soon enough for tens of thousands of festive family memory makers as the popular Light Up Sir Harold Hillier Gardens at Christmas light trail announces its return for 2024.
Tickets go on sale on Monday (3 June) for the all-new long light art trail that was enjoyed by more than 72,000 visitors last Christmas – with prices frozen at 2023 prices!
“We’re so excited to be back at Sir Harold Hillier Gardens and can’t wait to share some incredible new light installations that celebrate our Christmas Wonderland theme,” say co-directors Libby Battaglia and Lucinda Croft.
“And with loads of new features, including a revamped route, this year’s event is going to be even bigger and better than before!”
Peak and Off Peak tickets will go on sale at the same price as last year.
Also on sale will be the new Super Peak tickets for a select number of extra special nights enhanced by live entertainment. In association with Steamship Circus, Light Up Trails present mesmeric fire jugglers, larger-the-life characters and breath-taking aerial artistes to elevate the Light Up experience.
“We had such a lot of lovely feedback from last year’s event – for instance, we know many people see it as the start of their family Christmas, and that’s a real honour – but we’ve also listened to what people are asking for, so we’re introducing live entertainment and working hard on expanding our new food and drinks menu.”
Light Up Sir Harold Hillier Gardens at Christmas promises:
· an all-new light trail, plus the return of some regular favourites
· a revamped route
· no price increase for Peak and Off Peak tickets
· more festive-themed installations that revel in the Christmas spirit
· a new drinks menu and new street food, including fish & chips, and a wider choice of vegan and vegetarian options
Also new for this year, for the first time visitors will be able to order their Light Up Trails merchandise online in advance.
